This short five day course will consist of the following modules:

1) Induction

2) Safety Procedures (Fire/Evacuation)

3) SOLAS Safe Pass

4) Manual Handling

5) Chemical Awareness

6) Clocking in and Out

7) How to register with Revenue and set up a Bank Account

8) Basic English phrases (for non-English speakers)

9) Cleaning Skills

· Colour Coding

· Mopping Procedures

· Safe use of vacuum cleaners

· Contact time for cleaning agents

· Use of washer/dryer

· Use of buffer

10) Interview preparedness 1

11) Basic IT skills and provision of a tablet computer
